At PlayTogether NYC, we celebrate the joy of learning and maturing through play! We believe that small class sizes, individual attention, a rich varied curriculum, and commitment to group play are the best ways to help our 3s and 4s develop social skills, social learning, and analytical reasoning.
We have a high teacher-student ratio, two teachers in the 3s class, two teachers in the 4s program.
We work with each child individually, as well as in classes and smaller groups, to further develop skills and mirror real life.
We incorporate literacy and writing skills throughout the day in authentic and natural settings.

I have nothing but good things to say about PlayTogether NYC. Nyla, Logan, Melissa, and Lena did an outstanding job teaching my 4-year-old daughter this year. I can honestly say my daughter blossomed socially and intellectually under their tutelage. Julia entered PlayTogether NYC as a shy and impatient child who had difficulty making friends, following rules, and writing. All her teachers there were very patient and worked extensively with her. By the time Julia graduated in June, she had made a number of new friends and carried on conversations about all sorts of topics, including her favorite—zoology. PlayTogether’s daily activities inspired Julia’s curiosity and brought out a creative side of my daughter that I hadn’t realized was there. On top of all that, Julia learned how to write her name (legibly), count, and write various numbers and letters.
PlayTogether NYC truly made a rough year with masks and the pandemic into a win for the kids and the parents. As a parent, I can’t recommend this school enough. It’s outstanding!

I truly realized how great the PlayTogether pre-K program is after my daughter started kindergarten at PS9. She was well prepared for the academic requirements (vs. some kids who attend progressive preschools and are not familiar with the alphabet), and she could focus on meeting new friends.
